Settling estates and Probate applications
When someone dies, their money, property and possessions, "their estate", has to be distributed in line with their Will. It's usually necessary for the relatives to apply for the Grant of Probate or Letters of Administration to allow them to do this. It can be an overwhelming responsibility if you're coping with the death of someone you love. So the PWS can take it off your hands. We can:
- contact everyone who needs to know about the death
- apply for Grant of Probate or Letters of Administration
- liaise with the Probate Office and Inland Revenue
- deal with banks, building societies, pension companies, insurers, share registrars, etc
- fully wind up the estate for you.
