Settling an estate when somebody dies can be upsetting, time-consuming and stressful. On top of that, many firms and banks charge very high fees for winding up estates and applying for Probate.
If you live overseas, it's even more demanding. You may need to fly back to the UK from time to time to get everything settled, so it costs you more money in flights, accommodation and time off work.
The Probate and Wills Service can do it all for you. So you can be sure everything goes smoothly while you're at home.
Who we are
We are Brian Shapley and Rob Marshall and we are specialists in handling the affairs of the deceased and drafting Wills. We created the PWS in 2003 because we felt there was a need for a specialised, efficient and convenient service to help people with Probate applications for a very reasonable fee.
How we can help
Settling estates and applying for Probate in the UK
If you lose a member of your family in the UK, we can make life a lot easier for you. We will handle their affairs from our office in London - so you don't have to spend time and money travelling back and forth to get things done.
You can give us Power of Attorney so we can take on the responsibility of applying for Probate, winding up the estate of the deceased and all the paperwork that comes with it. We will give you regular progress reports, answer any of your questions straight away, and keep the ball rolling. And we will meet with the Probate Commissioner to swear the oath on your behalf.
